January 25th is a special date, because that is the day my youngest boy, Matthew Wright, was born. Each year we do something to remember him by, and to celebrate a life that was cut too short. This year we are selling t-shirts that will commemorate the official launch of the Matthew Wright Foundation.
We created a logo that is purely Matthew. He loved the mountains, and he loved all animals, especially the moose. He and his Grandfather both shared a love and appreciation for this grand animal. The moose prints symbolically stop mid-way through the snow because Matthew was not able to finish his journey on this earth. The Matthew Wright Foundation will do its best to finish the work Matthew was unable to complete.
ALL of the proceeds from the sale of these T-shirts will go towards two things that were near and dear to Matthew’s heart, animal welfare and higher education.

We will run and walk to raise money for, and to bring awareness to, organ, eye, and tissue donation. Why? More than 113,000 men, women, and children are on the waiting list, and 20 of those people will die each day. We need to raise awareness, and get as many people as possible to check YES, and become an organ and tissue donor. The inaugural event will be held at:
The Boise State Park
555 Main St.
Boise, ID 87343
This is a family friendly event, and we will sell light refreshments. We will also be holding a raffle, thanks to the local business community. Click here to register yourself or your team.
$25 per adult, or $20 if you have a group of five or more.
$15 for teens
Kids under 12 are free
You can also bring your dogs!
All proceeds from the Miles for Matthew 5K fun run/walk will go to the Matthew Wright Foundation; whose mission it is to help animals find their forever homes, as well as ensuring that students who want to further their education, have the means to do so.
